Strolling Hermann's beautiful Historic District is a favorite pastime for guests at the inn. The riverfront is just to our north. Several charming shops, galleries and cafes are just one block east on Schiller Street. Hermannhof Winery is an easy stroll down First Street.
Hermann is the heart of Missouri Wine Country. The Hermann Wine Trail includes seven family-owned wineries, all within a 15-mile radius.
The Showboat Community Theatre on Fourth Street stages excellent variety shows and Broadway musicals. We are pleased to arrange tickets for guests, as well as for small tour groups.
For history buffs, Deutschheim State Historic Site is just around the corner from the inn. The nearby Gasconade County Courthouse sits atop a bluff overlooking the river. The Historic Hermann Museum Rooms are in the German School at the corner of Fourth and Market, where the town clock has operated continuously since 1890.
